Nagoya University has established the 3 JDPs, including the first of its kind in Japan.

In 2015, Nagoya University established the Joint Degree Program (JDP) which is managed by both Nagoya University and an overseas partner university. In this program, Japan’s first of its kind, students will receive a joint single degree upon completion. The partner universities rank within/around TOP 100 worldwide, they are also called prestigious universities. During the 4 year PhD course, students stay at the overseas partner university for at least one year, and pursue a single project which enhances their international perspective. A joint degree assures international experience. Financial support is available as well.
