Footstep of Nagoya = Lund cooperation

The Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya University established an academic partnership with the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University, Sweden in March 2014. We have a clinical clerkship program which allows the exchange of undergraduate medical students. In January 2015, we had a signing ceremony for a Joint PhD Program, and Lund University officially became our partner university for the Joint Degree Program. Nagoya University continued negotiation with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) about the program, and the new course “International collaborative Program in comprehensive Medical Science between Nagoya University and Lund University” was officially approved on November 8, 2016 by MEXT. The international joint symposiums will continue to be held regularly to promote international collaborative research and to develop human resources who can actively contribute to the advancement of medicine and welfare.
