第6回3大学国際合同シンポジウム・合同学術協力会議

2017年10月6日、ドイツのフライブルク大学医学部構内の研究施設にて、フライブルク大学、アデレード大学、名古屋大学の国際共同シンポジウムを行いました。本シンポジウムは3大学間の持ち回りで毎年開催されており、今回で6回目を迎えました。
 本シンポジウムでは、はじめにフライブルク大学のカースティン・クレグステイン医学部長より挨拶があり、その後、神経科学分野、腫瘍学分野において各大学の参加者による研究発表が行われました。神経科学分野では、本学より大野欽司教授、木山博資教授が発表を行い、フライブルク大学より2名の研究者が発表を行いました。腫瘍学分野では、3大学より計9名が発表し、活発な議論が行われました。また、例年同様に大学院生の発表も行われ、今年は3大学より4名の大学院生が参加しました。各分野とも素晴らしい発表となり、活発な意見交換が繰り広げられました。
 また、本シンポジウムと並行して3大学合同運営会議が開催され、3大学が積極的に取り組んでいるジョイントディグリープログラムの今後の運営方針について議論を行いました。すでに本学とプログラムを開始しているアデレード大学とは、今後の運営や対応について詳細な議論を行い、またフライブルク大学とは、来年度開設を目指している名古屋大学・フライブルク大学国際連携総合医学専攻(仮称)における、協定書の内容の確認や今後の進め方などについて活発な意見交換を行いました。
 今回で6回目となる本シンポジウムでは、非常に和やかな雰囲気の中で発表や討論が行われ、3大学は各々の研究を通して研究分野における協力関係を深めただけでなく、共同教育プログラムに関する運営面でも相互の理解を深めることができました。今後とも各大学間における教育研究のさらなる発展が期待されます。
