Payment of medical fees

Please pay for your medical fees either at the Cashier (Receipts) on the first floor of the Outpatient Building or at an automatic payment machine.
The automatic payment machine is located as follows.

  • in front of the Cashier (Receipts)
  • in front of the After-Hours Reception Desk on the first floor of the Central Consultation Building
  • at the Inpatient Reception on the first floor of the Ward Building.

You may pay by cash, credit card, or debit card (cash card including debit function from banks, the Post Office, or other institutions).

We accept the following credit cards: MUFG, UFJ, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, NICOS, DC, and Diners Club.

Opening hours

  • Cashier (Receipts): Weekdays 8:30-17:15
  • Automatic payment machine (in front of the Cashier (Receipts)): Weekdays 8:45-16:40
  • Automatic payment machine (the Inpatient Reception) : Weekdays 8:30-16:40
  • Automatic payment machine (in front of the After-Hours Reception Desk):
    Weekdays 17:15-8:30 the following morning
    Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays: 24 hours
    Note: Sunday(3:00-4:00)is unavailable

Q&A on payment

Q. How do I use the automatic payment machine?
A. Swipe your Hospital Card, the bar-code of the Bill or the billing slip issued by the Cashier (Receipts) over the bar-code scanner, or insert the Hospital Card Hospital Card through the card slot to display the amount billed to you on the screen. Pay the amount in cash or by credit or debit card.

Q. Can I use a credit card?
A. You can pay with MUFG, UFJ, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, NICOS, DC or Diners Club. You can arrange to pay in monthly or other installments, at the Cashier (Receipts). You must input your PIN for the payment of more than 50,000 yen.

Q. Can I use a debit card (cash card)?
A. You may use a cash card with debit function from banks, the Post Office, or other institutions. You must input your PIN.

Q. Can I make a bank transfer to make my payment?
A. Yes. You need to complete the required procedures at the Cashier (Receipts) in advance.
