Visiting hours

Visiting hours are set so as to avoid interference with doctor's rounds and patients' rest. Visitors' cooperation in observing these visiting hours is appreciated.

Exceptions may be made based on the condition of the patient and the need for treatment.

Weekdays 15:00-19:00
Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays 10:00-19:00

To visit your patient

1) All Visitors are requested to stop at the following reception desk to tighten the security in the hospital.
2) You must receive visitor card (sticker) at the reception desk and put it on your clothes. Please understand that visitors without visitor card will be stopped by our security guard.
3) To protect patient's privacy, when our patient refuses to accept visitors, you are not permitted to visit the patient. (To refuse visitors, please inform us in the hospitalization request form.)
4) We do not accept telephone inquiries about our patient including name, ward or room. We may ask your name and the relationship with our patient.

15:00-17:15 ( General Information on the first floor of the Outpatient Building)
Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays 10:00-19:00 (Temporary visiting reception on the first floor of the Ward Building)

To visitors

Our visiting policies have been established to protect and manage patients' private information securely under the Act on Protection of Private Information Held by Independent Administrative Agencies, which came into force on April 1, 2005. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.

1. Inquiries by phone

We do not provide patients' information such as name, ward, or room, in response to inquiries by phone.

2. Provision of patient information to people visiting patients in hospital

Visitors should obtain patient information, such as their full names or the ward and room where they are staying, from patients themselves or their family members before visiting the hospital. The hospital provides information on how to access the wards and rooms only to visitors who possess this information. Otherwise, we are unable to provide any information about patients and their locations.

3. Other information
  • Please observe our visiting rule.
  • Flowers are not permitted, to avoid hospital-acquired infection.
  • Visitors with children or two or more visitors at one time should use the lounge area in the center on each floor or the patients' dining room.
  • Visitors should use the elevators designated for general use.
4. Visiting Rule

The following is a part of our visiting rule to allow our patients to spend comfortable life in the hospital. Patients and visitors must observe the rules. We may refuse your visit or ask you to leave the hospital, if you don't follow them.

  1. We ask for understanding of the following visiting hour for treatment and patient's rest. You may be requested not to visit your patient according to the patient's condition or treatment. Though some departments, including ICU and NICU, have unusual rules, please follow each rule.
  2. Visitors are requested to stop at disaster prevention center or general information desk on the 1st floor in Outpatient building on weekdays, and to stop at the temporary visiting reception desk on the 1st floor in Ward building on weekends and national holidays. You should receive Visitor Card sticker there and put it on your clothes in the hospital.
  3. Visitors with children or accompanying more than 2 people are requested to meet your patient at conversation room, lobby or cafeteria so far as the patient's health permits.
  4. Flowers are not permitted in the patient room.
  5. Cell phones are permitted (including email and computer connection) only in the designated area to avoid disrupting medical devices.
  6. Don't take photos or movies without permission to protect privacy and security.
  7. Drinking alcoholic beverages in the medical areas including patient room and smoking is prohibited in our property.
  8. Visitors who we find drunk may not be permitted to meet our patient.
  9. We will not accept uncouth and violent behavior, repeat of unreasonable demands and indecent behavior. Please avoid any behavior that would cause patients trouble or prevent our work.
  10. Please keep out of restricted areas where only our staff can enter.
  11. You might be asked to pay for damage if you broke our property or devises.
  12. Please follow our instruction even if it is unusual or temporary. If you don't understand the instruction, please follow the instructions from doctors, nurses and staffs. (The same as in an emergency.)
