Patient clothing

Patients who use rental patient clothes

Rental patient clothes are available for inpatients so that patients can always wear clean clothing based on our hospital's treatment policy, to facilitate nursing care, and to prevent hospital-acquired infection.
There are two types, pajamas and Japanese nemaki, in five sizes, S/M/L/LL/3L, which are designed so that examination can be performed and treatment can be provided easily.
They are generally changed three times a week in summer and twice in other seasons . If they become stained and/or contaminated, they are immediately changed for clean ones.
The rental fee per day is ¥72 (incl. consumption tax). You may change the status of your request during your hospital stay (agreement on the use and cancellation of rental clothes). A nurse in your ward will arrange the change for you.

Patients who use their own pajamas (or nemaki)

Please choose pajamas (or nemaki) that are designed so that examination can be performed and treatment can be provided easily.
Please choose clothes modest in color and design for your hospital stay.
Your doctor may ask you to wear rental patient clothes, depending on your condition.
After surgery and during intravenous drip administration, clothes may become stained more often than usual. If your clothes become stained or dirty, change them and have them washed immediately so you are always wearing clean clothing.
