運動・形態外科学手の外科

研究室概要

手外科という分野は、整形外科および形成外科のバックグラウンドを持つ医師がその上に持つ専門領域(subspeciality)として選択するものです。日本手外科学会はアメリカ手外科学会に次ぐ50年以上の歴史を持ち、会員数は3000人を越えます。名古屋大学手の外科学教室のスタッフは現在すべて日本整形外科学会の専門医資格を有しています。 名古屋大学における手外科は日本手外科学会の開設から11年目の1968年に当時名古屋市東新町にあった名古屋大学医学部附属病院分院にはじまり、2001年についに全国で唯一の手外科を専門とする大学院講座の開設が実現し、中村蓼吾先生が初代教授に就任し、現在は平田仁教授のもと教育、研究、診療を行っています。
