Curriculum / course registration and study plan
All new students in the Public Health Program are required to consult with their academic supervisors, complete the "Study Plan (Public Health Program)," and submit it to the Graduate School Section by the specified deadlines.
About the Types of Class Subjects and Credits Required for Master's Programs in the Graduate School of Medicine
18 credits in Compulsory Subjects including:
- 2 credits from "Social Life Science" that is held every Thursday morning for three months starting in April.
- 16 credits from "Seminar on Medical Science" and "Experimental Research on Medical Science" that are held in the student's lab/research room and cover basic research methods, experiments, and practical training tailored to students' individual research projects
12 credits in Compulsory Elective Subjects
- Students are required to earn at least 2 credits from the field of "Epidemiology and Biostatistics", at least 2 credits from the field of "Health Care Policy and Management", at least 2 credits from the field of "Environmental Health Sciences" and at least 2 credits from the field of "Social Science and Behavioral Science".
- The 12 credits could include 4 (at most) Common Credits that can be obtained by attending Elective Subjects (4 courses of Morphology of Human Body, Physiology of Human Body, Molecular Pathology, and Introduction to Clinical Medicine).
