OUTLINE

あいち小児保健医療総合センターは、2001年11月に開設し、小児内科系・外科系各診療科が全国有数の診療実績を挙げてきました。2016年2月に小児専門の救急棟を開設し、同年3月には東海3県で初の「小児救命救急センター」に指定されました。同年11月には周産期部門を開設し、県内唯一の小児専門総合病院として、小児急性期高度医療を提供しています。研究面では、平成31年4月に「臨床研究室」を新設し、同年（令和元年）12月には文部科学省の研究施設に認定され、本格的に臨床研究を実施する体制が整い、令和3年4月に連携講座「総合小児医療学」が開設しました。本連携講座では名大における高度な研究技術と、あいち小児の有する稀少疾患を含む豊富な臨床資源を連携させ、小児医療領域における幅広く質の高い臨床研究を進めています。
