Global Alliance of Medical Excellence, GAME, is a global alliance network for the development of medical education and research. It was established in 2017 by 9 universities' medical schools to have a common interest in developing medical education and seeking opportunities for world-wide collaborative research. International activities in not only medical research but in also medical education are becoming well recognized as an important factor for future development in medicine. Such a global alliance serves as a good platform for the member universities to deepen their knowledge and expand their network for their future development through network activities.
Nagoya University has been a member university of the GAME alliance since its establishment and has been committed to developing its role in the alliance the collaborations. In GAME, to produce far-reaching, innovative and impactful research, we work together to maximize our resources and strength for the advancement of medicine.
The GAME has chosen the project below as its first-priority and the universities are committed to engaging eith initiative with each project.

- Healthy Start Network (Erasmus University Medical Center)

- International Microbiota Research Network: Gut Microbiota Across Ethnicities and Populations (The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
- International Network of Drug-induced Liver Injury Research(Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich)
- International Online Barrett's Esophagus Registry (IOBER) (University of Bologna)
- PhD4GAME
The programme aims to provide an extra layer of support to help accelerate research project activity between institutions through shared PhD training.
