Please refer to the syllabus for details on each class.
TOKURON
Students are required to attend at least 15 lectures given for the TOKURON in each specialized field within two to three years of enrollment.
It doesn't matter which specialty you take, but please make sure to include at least one Premium Lecture, which is held regularly at our graduate school of medicine as part of the TOKURON, among the 15 or more lectures.
* ASCI students are not required to take the Premium Lecture.
When you take a TOKURON lecture, a confirmation stamp will be stamped on your "TOKURON Card (Risyu card)". If you take the course online, the Student Affairs Division will confirm your attendance after you submit the card.
As a general rule, you must take at least 15 classes within two years of enrollment and submit your card to the Student Affairs Division Office. Credits will be approved upon submission.
The implementation date and lecture content will be posted on the School of Medicine/Graduate School of Medicine online bulletin board.
Premium Lecture (TOKURON)
Premium Lecture is designed to provide a forum for presentations and discussions on outstanding research results from the Graduate School of Medicine, to exchange information among researchers, promote collaborative research, and inspire young researchers. Lectures are given by young researchers who have actually conducted the research or who have directly supervised them.
Senior faculty members who possess the core research methods for a wide range of collaborative research also may give lectures.
These lectures are held approximately three to six times a year, and are organized by the Premium Lecture Executive Committee, made up of volunteer young researchers, who nominate speakers and host the events in the hope of helping to foster an academic culture for the Graduate School.
TOKUPRO
Depending on the specialized seminar of your main subject, please take at least 4 courses from the following programs for a total of 20 times or more. After taking 20 times, please be sure to submit "TOKUPRO Card" to the Graduate School of Medicine Student Affairs Division by the end of your third year. Upon this submission, the chairperson of the Graduate School Education Committee will certify the program.
Basic Training
Basic Training is a program that allows graduate students to acquire the knowledge and skills of our faculty members, who utilize a wide range of research methods, from basic techniques to cutting-edge research methods, day and night.
Students must take a minimum of 4 courses as 0.5 credits for each course.
All information and notification will be announced on the bulletin board.
