Division for Medical Research Engineering
The Division for Medical Research Engineering is located on the 4th and 5th floors of Medical Science Research Building 3, and is responsible for the centralized maintenance and management of various analytical and measuring equipment at the Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine, and for the purpose of improving the efficiency of education, research, and equipment use.
This division consists of four laboratories: Bioimaging, Molecular Structure Analysis, Cell Function Analysis, and Genetic Information Analysis, and is equipped with a variety of equipment necessary for research in each field, focusing on large instruments such as optical microscopes, electron microscopes, mass spectrometers, flow cytometers, DNA sequencers, etc. In addition to maintaining and managing the equipment, the division also supports education and research by introducing new technologies, holding seminars on equipment use, and providing a Basic Training course for graduate schools.
The seminars are held throughout the year as part of the "Division for Medical Research Engineering Seminar Series", which is open to all students and researchers, so please join them.
