Report of the International Tau Symposium

The International Tau Symposium was held at the Westin Nagoya Castle on Thursday July 27, 2017. The theme of this symposium was “Tau imaging: current status and future direction”.

In this symposium, with the internet access, the real-time lecture from USA was given. 10 experts including 3 invited speakers from abroad talked mainly about “visualization of tau deposits by three major PET ligands” currently used in the world.

All participants could share the cutting-edge information and knowledge in the research field. Also, the information was actively exchanged and the promotion of the collaborative research with other institutions was constructively discussed.

This symposium was very significant and meaningful for all participants. We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to you all participated.
