Guide for Visitors ※Not currently available(2020～)
Introduction
Please fill out the admission form at the circulation desk when you come to the library.
As a rule, visitors can't borrow the materials. Visitors can order materials of Medical Library via their organization's library or the nearest public library.
Entering
Please check the opening days and hours.
Please enter the library by 30 minutes before the closing time.
The service of the circulation desk is limited from 5 to 8 pm on weekdays and Saturday.
You can use facilities of the library for only reading.
Reading
You can access to facilities of the library freely (except for some areas such as the archives).
Be sure to return the materials to their original position after reading.
The materials in the archives are not available on weekdays between 5pm and 8pm and on Saturdays.
Before visiting the Medical Library, please search the materials you want to read using OPAC.
Only materials marked as "Medical Library" in the "Location" section of OPAC are available.
Materials located in laboratories and hospitals are not available.
Please write down the "Call number" and "Material ID".
If you can't find materials on OPAC, please contact us by phone or e-mail.
Photocopying
You can copy books only in accordance with the Copyright Law.
Please fill out the "Application Form of Copy Services" next to the copier and submit it to the circulation desk.
There are two types of copiers: one for Co-op copy cards and one for coins. The copier for coins can accept 1,000 yen bills. Other bills cannot be exchanged, so please have small change ready.
