Department of Education for Community-Oriented Medicine was established in 2009. Our department focuses on the research of development and implementation of curricula designed for community medicine and general practice. In particular, we aim to contribute to the academic foundation of community medicine by conducting research in General Practice, Family Medicine, interdisciplinary studies between medicine and the humanities/social sciences (e.g., Medical Humanities, Medical Education), and global environment and health (e.g., Planetary Health).
