In Showa year 6 (1931), Aichi Medical College (1920-1931), predecessor to Nagoya University, was transferred to national control, becoming the national Nagoya Medical College.
Following this, the campaign to establish an Imperial University bore fruit: in 1939 Nagoya Imperial University was founded, and Nagoya Medical College was reorganized as Nagoya Imperial University School of Medicine.
This book contains history, the University Ordinance, various regulations, staff, students, graduates, ground plans, and so on.
