TAMURA Harukichi (1883-1949) was born in Tokyo-fu's Kyobashi Ward (currently Tokyo's Chuo Ward).In Taisho year 5 (1916), he began work as a teacher at Aichi Prefectural Medical College, and in Showa year 7 (1932) was inaugurated as president of Nagoya Medical College.After the War, in January of Showa year 21 (1946), he became the second president of Nagoya Imperial University. |
