Description The Public Medical School (1878-), which was the predecessor of Nagoya University, was renamed Aichi Medical School (1881-) and then Aichi Prefectural Medical School (1901-); in Meiji year 36 (1903), under the Specialized College Ordinance, it became Aichi Prefectural Medical College, engaging in specialist higher education; in March of 1914 it moved from Ten'nozaki-cho (now Sakae 1 cho-me in Nagoya's Naka Ward) to the current Nagoya University Tsurumai Campus. This book contains an overview of the College's history, the Specialized College Ordinance, various regulations, staff, students, graduates, and patient numbers, as well as rough maps of the grounds and buildings, etc.It was a supplement for information on the situation during the period between the survey taken in December, Meiji year 44 (1911) and the submission of its final draft in Meiji year 45 (1912).
