| Description |
In Meiji year 12 (1879), the Public Medical School was accredited as a "specialized college" and raised from its previous secondary education institution status to higher education institution status; in Meiji year 36 (1903), it was renamed Aichi Prefectural Medical College.
Following this, in March of Taisho year 3 (1914) the College was relocated to Tsurumai-cho in Naka Ward (currently Tsurumai-cho, Showa Ward), where it remained for 37 years. |
