Report of Clinical Clerkship

Ms. Kayla Bronder from U.S.A.

Departments: Gastroenterology, Orthopedic Surgery
Period: 2013.07.01 – 2013.07.26

My month studying at Nagoya University School of Medicine opened my eyes to the wonders of the Japanese culture, the advancements of Japanese medicine, and the incredible generosity of the Japanese people. I could not have asked for a better experience learning and exploring in such an incredible country. The doctors generously gave me their time and energy to teach me gastroenterology and orthopedic surgery. The students invited me into their lives and friendships, showing me the life of a Japanese medical student. I am forever grateful for such a unique, incredible, educational and fun experience.
