Passport and Visa
Every foreign visitor entering Japan must have a valid passport. Visitors from countries whose citizens must have visas should apply to a Japanese consular office or diplomatic mission in their respective country. For further details, please contact your travel agent or the local consular office in your country.

Currency Exchange
Only Japanese yen is acceptable at regular stores and restaurants. Major credit cards and certain foreign currencies are accepted in a number of shops and hotels. Foreign currency exchange and cashing of traveler’s checks can be done at international airports and major hotels. Major banks that handles foreign currency is located in the downtown area. Banks are open from 9:00 to 15:00 on weekdays, closed on Saturday and Sunday.
*All payments made at the registration desk must be done in Japanese yen.
*There is no bank at the conference site, but cash dispensers are available near the Nishi-takakura station and in Yamanaka supermarket near exit 1 of Hibino station and in convenience stores.
