In addition to the practice exercise with cooperating hospitals, we have introduced an exercise with a medical practitioner in cooperation with Nagoya Medical Association (NMA) from 2000. It is now the system to send a 5th-year student to a medical practitioner on a one-on-one basis to allow them to gain experience in primary care settings. More than 40 clinics are cooperating with us. We also apply bidirectional evaluation for this exercise to correct and modify it.
